Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I was beyond excited to get started on our costumes this year, especially for Jax. But in light of recent events, I haven’t really had the chance to do anything these days. I started thinking about costumes that I could make myself and came up with this cute, little skeleton costume for little J. The whole costume took only 20 minutes to make and cost under $10! Materials:
Black long sleeve shirt $4 from Walmart
Black sweat pants $4 from Walmart

I bought the top and bottoms at Walmart (I couldn’t find a link, sorry!) and the paint & brushes at Michaels. I didn’t really use a stencil to paint on the bones. I just Googled a few photos of skeletons and just went for it. I didn’t try to make it look perfect because well, skeletons aren’t perfect! The whole project took less than 20 minutes. I let the top and bottoms dry over night. The next morning, they were ready to go!

Now that Jax’s costume is all finished, all I have to worry about is mine and JJ’s. I think it’ll be pretty easy to come up with costumes for both of us since we live in all black. I might just paint our faces or pick up some affordable masks. We’ll see! Stay tuned for our finished Halloween family costumes!
